Palani Temple, also known as Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple, is a Hindu temple located in the town of Palani in the Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan, also known as Dhandayuthapani, and is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in South India.

According to Hindu mythology, Palani is one of the six abodes of Lord Murugan and is believed to be the place where Lord Murugan resided after winning a battle against the demon Surapadma.
