The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 1,70,461 school teachers in Bihar. The online application process began on June 15, 2023 and will close on July 12, 2023.

The following are the important dates for the BPSC school teacher recruitment:
- Application start date: June 15, 2023
- Application end date: July 12, 2023
- Admit card release date: August 1, 2023
- Examination date: August 15, 2023
- Result declaration date: September 15, 2023
The BPSC school teacher recruitment will be conducted in two phases:
- Phase 1: Written examination
- Phase 2: Interview
The written examination will be a objective type test of 100 questions. The questions will be based on the following subjects:
- General knowledge
- Hindi
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Social science
The interview will be conducted to assess the candidate’s communication skills, teaching aptitude, and general knowledge.
The selected candidates will be appointed as school teachers in the Government of Bihar. The salary for a school teacher in Bihar is Rs. 25,000/- per month.
The following are the eligibility criteria for the BPSC school teacher recruitment:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must have passed the 12th standard from a recognized board.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- The candidate must have a valid teaching certificate.
The age limit for the BPSC school teacher recruitment is 21 to 35 years.
