Bharati Vidyapeeth (BVDU) is a private deemed to be university in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The university was founded in 1964 by Dr. Patangrao Kadam. BVDU offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of engineering, technology, management, science, arts, and humanities. The university has a campus in Pune, as well as campuses in Sangli, Kolhapur, and Solapur.
BVDU is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of ‘A’. The university is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
